User Interface

The user interface is designed to be easy to use:

• The user interface intentionally looks like Windows Explorer. The left side gives a tree display of the Assembly/Sub-assembly/Component configuration of a Chassis whereas the right side, the full details of the selected Assembly, Sub-assembly or Component is displayed;
• The use of different icons allows the user to quickly identify what assemblies and components require attention;
• The “Location - centric” approach means that Assemblies and Components can be transferred to and from a Location, mileage can be updated and Parts can be serviced with just a click of the mouse on a button or a mouse-activated menu;
• "The Racer". This interactive function continually keeps watch over the entire system and alerts the user to any parts that require attention.
